Bay of Kotor Slow Road
The Bay of Kotor winds deep into the mountains, and the road follows almost every bend of it. This trip takes it slowly, with time in two of its towns and stops where the view opens up.

Bay of Kotor
The plan for the day
Perast
A small baroque town along the water. Boats leave from the front for the island of Our Lady of the Rocks, if you want to go across.
Kotor
The walled old town at the end of the bay. Walk the streets, have lunch, or climb part of the way up the walls to the fortress.
Viewpoints around the bay
On the way back we stop where the bay and the mountains can be seen best, depending on the light and the traffic.
Good to know
A passport or ID card is needed for the border, and in summer the queue can be long, so we start early. The boat to the island and the walls of Kotor have their own tickets.
