Pelješac Grand Cru Scenic Drive
Pelješac is long and narrow, with the sea on both sides and vineyards on almost every slope. This trip drives most of its length, from Ston to Orebić, which looks across the channel to Korčula.
It suits people who like wine and want to see where it is made, but the drive alone is worth the day.

Ston
The plan for the day
Ston
A short morning stop at the walls and salt pans.
Trstenik and Dingač
The Dingač vineyards grow on a very steep slope above the sea. The Plavac Mali grapes from here make one of the best-known red wines in Croatia.
Potomje
A village of wine cellars, a good place for a tasting.
Orebić
A seaside town at the end of the peninsula, with views across the channel to the island of Korčula.
Good to know
This is a long day with a lot of driving. Tastings are paid directly to the cellars. Tell us if you would like to add a ferry crossing to Korčula; it changes the timing of the day.
